ACCIONA will take part in JEC World 2025, the world’s leading composites trade fair, to be held from 4 to 6 March in Paris at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre. This year marks the event’s 60th anniversary, bringing together 1,350 companies and 45,000 professionals from more than 100 countries.

WALUE thermal recycling technology

ACCIONA will host a stand to present the latest progress in its WALUE composite recycling project. This technology is based on a low-temperature thermal recycling process to recover composite waste. The recycled fibers obtained are processed by ACCIONA into nonwoven fabrics to replace virgin fiber nonwovens, such as chopped strand mat, which can then be used to manufacture products for industries including construction, automotive and renewable energy.

Roundtable on circular economy

ACCIONA will also take part on 5 March in a roundtable titled “From trash to treasure: building a thriving recycled composite supply chain,” featuring Anurag Bansal, Director of Strategic Innovation in ACCIONA’s Construction business. The session will address the challenges of developing an organized system for collecting composite waste and scaling efficient recycling technologies.
