ACCIONA, through its open innovation arm I’MNOVATION, played a leading role at Al Andalus Innovation Venture 2025 (AAIV) — one of the most prominent entrepreneurial gatherings in Southern Europe.

This year, the company organized and hosted the “Pitch Competition – Cleantech by ACCIONA”, a session led by ACCIONA’s Open Innovation team, bringing together high-potential startups focused on developing technological solutions with a positive environmental impact.

During the competition, a selection of startups and scaleups presented their disruptive proposals in areas such as:

• Renewable energy and energy efficiency
• Water treatment and reuse
• Circular economy and new materials
• Decarbonization and climate solutions

The Open Innovation team at ACCIONA conducted the session, where startups showcased their solutions before a panel of corporations, investors, and innovation ecosystem representatives.

The event brought together corporations, investment funds, startups, and public entities committed to driving sustainable transformation through technology.

Over two days, participants shared experiences, built collaborations, and explored new opportunities in the water, energy, and circular economy sectors.

With this initiative, ACCIONA reinforces its role as a key player in the cleantech ecosystem, promoting open collaboration and the development of technologies that support a sustainable transition.
