TIME TO FINISH REGISTRATION

Active collaboration is a key element in discovering the technologies of the future—those capable of generating a positive impact not only on the companies involved, but also on the planet and society.

That is why ACCIONA launched I’MNOVATION, an open innovation programme that actively collaborates with startups, scale-ups, spin-offs, technology centres, and universities. The goal is to jointly co-develop new solutions that address the major challenges facing the planet:

  • the climate emergency
  • water scarcity and sanitation
  • the need for resilient infrastructure
  • innovation and the development of more sustainable cities

We are looking for incorporated companies that fall into one of the following categories:

  • Startups with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of the proposed technology or solution to address the challenge.
    Spin-offs from knowledge agents with new technology developments related to our businesses and clear market potential.
  • Scale-ups with a market-proven solution that can address the proposed challenge but requires adaptation to ACCIONA’s business context.
  • Research centres, innovation centres, and research groups with solutions or technologies validated at least in a laboratory environment that can be adapted or applied to ACCIONA’s proposed use case.

Once the winning companies are selected, we work together on the co-development of their proposals and actively support their viability through technical guidance, financial support, and the joint development of innovative solutions that respond to the proposed challenges.

If your proposal is selected, I’MNOVATION will provide you with all the necessary resources and support, including:

  • Financial support to co-develop the pilot.
  • A dedicated team of expert mentors for the pilot. This “Pilot Team” is made up of ACCIONA technical experts and Open Innovation specialists who provide mentoring, guidance, and training. Their know-how can help turn a startup that is not yet established in the ecosystem into a success.
  • Networking opportunities among the different teams participating in the programme.

Our challenges, aligned with the SDGs, address specific problems that require innovative and sustainable solutions. Artificial Intelligence, robotics, digitalisation of construction processes, smart water cycle management… these are just some of the many areas in which you can develop and present your solutions.

We are looking for disruptive technological solutions that address the challenges in water, construction, concessions, real estate, and services. If selected, you will have the opportunity to co-develop your idea together with I’MNOVATION.
