The Al Khobar 2 reverse osmosis desalination plant has been awarded Infrastructure Project of the Year at the prestigious Construction Innovation Awards 2025, held in Riyadh.

The largest reverse osmosis plant under an EPC contract in Saudi Arabia

Recognized for its scale, innovation and impact, Al Khobar 2 is equipped with state-of-the-art reverse osmosis technology and has a daily capacity of more than 600,000 cubic meters, placing it among the largest desalination facilities in the Kingdom. It stands out in particular as the largest reverse osmosis plant awarded under a single EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract in Saudi Arabia.

Contribution to Vision 2030

This project will provide clean, sustainable water to more than three million people in the region, playing a key role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure and water security goals as part of Vision 2030.
