The I’MNOVATION department of ACCIONA participates in the Al Andalus Innovation Venture together with two of our startups.
The team from ACCIONA‘s I’MNOVATION has joined as a sponsor of the Al Andalus Innovation Venture, an innovation event lasting two days held at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones in Seville, which has had the participation of more than 350 startups, 80 investment funds and 50 corporations.
Committed to the development of projects with impact, ACCIONA wanted to promote some of the projects they are working on with startups. Javier González Báez, ACCIONA’s Open Innovation Manager, presented the I’MNOVATION program and two of its sustainable startup projects: Hobeen and Kemtecnia. They spoke about their experience with the program and how it helped them improve their solution and their value proposition.
It is very important to support talent and corporate are sources of opportunities for startups.
This initiative has as its main objective to give visibility to the Andalusian entrepreneurial talent and provide an investment opportunity from early stages to mature stages, allowing them to access specialized investment vehicles in these stages.
In addition, it also seeks to promote new forms of collaboration between large corporations and startups to obtain new solutions working together.
During the event, several meetings were held between representatives of the different collaborating companies and the entrepreneurs, with the aim of getting to know their projects and reaching collaboration agreements.
Thanks to the participation of ACCIONA I‘MNOVATION and other corporations, as well as the organizers and collaborators of the event, Al Andalus Venture has achieved great success in its first edition as a platform for Andalusian entrepreneurs to connect with a wide network of investors, corporations and other agents of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
