In 2017 we launched our first I’MNOVATION programme designed for collaboration with startups in the energy and infrastructure sectors. At that time, it was a pioneer initiative in Spain and one of the first in Europe. In this way we expanded our model of open innovation and ratified our leadership in R&D&i in our sectors of activity.

Under the scope of I’MNOVATION, we channelled the technical capabilities of ACCIONA and our R&D centres with the collaboration of startups and partners, and encouraged intraentrepreneurship to promote disruptive technologies and new businesses in the renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure sectors.
